Meet Sarah

The Noll Family
I'd like to introduce you to my family:
My husband Jay, our daughter Christine,
and our son, Thomas Jay

Sarah was born in the rustic mountains of Vermont where she spent the majority of her childhood. Sarah accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a young age. Her family is very musical and nurtured Sarah’s gift in music. She has been singing and writing songs for as long as she can remember.

When Sarah was twelve, she moved to New York state, where her father accepted a call to pastor a church. There she met her future husband, Jay. Friendship ensued and marriage followed in 1994.

Sarah was licensed to preach in 1994. She worked as an associate pastor alongside Jay, who was then pastoring his first church. She also served briefly as an interim pastor in a nearby church. In 1999, after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Theology through Covington Theological Seminary, she and Jay were locally ordained. Sarah and Jay share a Christ-centered foundation that relies on the Holy Spirit’s guidance in their lives. Sarah depends on the Holy Spirit for major decisions as well as practical, daily challenges.

Jay and Sarah were blessed with two children: Christine and Thomas Jay. Sarah chooses to devote the majority of her time and attention to her family. Jay and Sarah home-educate their children. Sarah's family occasionally sings with her.

At a Christian music festival, Sarah was introduced to Compassion International, an organization that seeks to make an eternal difference in the lives of children through one-to-one sponsorship. Sarah and her family sponsor two children through Compassion International. Sarah also became an “Advocate” for Compassion out of a deep desire to provide a voice for the voiceless and share God’s heart for the poor. Some of Sarah’s music reflects this passion.

In 2008, Jay accepted a call to pastor a church in Rushville, Indiana. The congregation there is enjoying Sarah's music and she is beginning to share her gifts with other churches in the area.

Sarah also enjoys gardening, and Biblical Dance.

Sarah Noll writes and sings from the heart. Her music ranges from fun, praise-filled choruses for children to passionate, provoking, Spirit-filled ballads expressing our need for and adoration of the Lord. A concert with Sarah Noll is engaging, inspiring, and enjoyable.

Testimonies Sarah has received:

You just sing like a bird with a beautiful tranquil message, a soothing of the heart, and a sharing of Christ love.

-Burlington Flats, New York

The Lord has given you the gift of not only singing but creating songs which touch people’s hearts. I’m so delighted I was able to hear your songs.

-Burlington Flats, New York

Your music makes me think of the Lord in an intimate way, like He’s right there.

-Cambridge, New York

It’s music that touches the soul.”

-Edmeston, New York

As I close my eyes and listen, I find myself in the presence of the Lord. [Sarah’s] music draws us into our own worship experience with our Heavenly Father. She sings from her heart and her heart belongs to Jesus.
